Colorado's Only Jesuit Parish
One Bread, One Body
If you’re interested in joining any of the following liturgical ministries, please let us know through our Volunteer Interest Form.
The members of this vital ministry proclaim God’s holy Word at Masses and other services. In addition, they lead the Prayer of the Faithful and offer the weekly announcements.
Ushers welcome and help seat parishioners and guests, distribute the weekly bulletins, help with special requests, and take up the offertory collections. They also have an important role to play in keeping the congregation safe.
Serving both inside and outside the church building, our greeters are a warm and welcoming presence at Masses and special occasions.
Altar servers help create an atmosphere of reverent and prayerful worship and are an integral part of the liturgical team. Adults and young people may serve. Young people must have received First Holy Communion and should be in the fourth grade or higher. Training is offered to individuals or groups throughout the year.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHCs) help share Holy Communion with the faithful at Mass. Specially commissioned by the Archdiocese of Denver, EMHCs support our worship by preparing the sacred vessels and linens for Mass and by caring for the sacred vessels after Mass.
Those who care for our altar linens support and beautify our worship by washing, pressing and keeping in good repair corporals, purificators, towels and altar cloths. As well, members assist in making sure our liturgical vestments are clean and in good order. Training is provided.
The members of our Music Ministry support our worship with beautiful and inspiring choral and instrumental music. Those involved receive the basic instruction in choral singing and musicianship.
