The Office Manager handles the day-to-day office functions. She works with the Pastor, other staff members, ministry chairs, vendors and parishioners to help coordinate parish activities, Sacraments and special events that happen throughout the year. She has supervisory duties as well.
Originally from Fort Worth, TX, Kathy Murzyn has lived in the Denver area since 1989. She has a Bachelor’s degree in English from Texas Christian University. For 10 years she worked as a production coordinator and executive assistant for a national magazine. She signed on at St. Ignatius Loyola in 2009, after retiring from her practice as a massage therapist.
Kathy served for 20 years as a parent volunteer in the Denver Catholic schools. Now she enjoys having some time to spend on hobbies such as writing and crafts.
