Colorado's Only Jesuit Parish
One Bread, One Body
This year the Loyola Family Ministry is collaborating with the Ignatian Spirituality Program to offer parents a special opportunity for fellowship and spiritual reflection.
We'll be using a book that provides prompts for meditation and discernment, all of which are relevant to parents as they navigate the challenges of raising young, compassionate Catholics while craving deeper spiritual development themselves.
The book is Praying with Ignatius of Loyola, by Jacqueline Bergan and Sister Marie Schwan, C.S.J. (1991; reissued, Chicago: Loyola Press, 2015).
All discussions will take place during the Loyola Family Ministry meeting times (Sundays at 8:50-9:45 a.m. in Brady Hall, by the Gesu Room). Coffee and breakfast snacks provided.
For a brief historical overview of the life of St. Ignatius Loyola, please see this "Introduction" from Praying with Ignatius of Loyola.
