We know the Sacraments are essential to our lives as Catholic
Christians. But we have questions about them:
How do they work?
Why are there seven?
Where did the terms come from?
Why do we take them so seriously?
How did they get the way they are?
What is the current theology of the Sacraments?
For the answers to these questions and to the questions you have
about the sacraments, we invite you to a new series of conversations
theology, ritual and history of the Sacraments
Our presenter, Br. Glenn Kerfoot, SJ, will lead our discussions. Br. Glenn
is newly in Denver after teaching for many years at St. John’s College
in Belize, Central America.
Our seven-part series will be held on Thursdays beginning August 17
and ending September 28. Each session is 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm in
Brady Hall (basement of St. Ignatius Loyola Church). Light snacks and
beverages will be provided.
Join us and see the Sacraments through this new lense.
